The project aims at offering children a joyful winter experience taking their reality as a baseline and accompany them in their sport and social development, showing them another kind of life where playing, skiing and learning in the snow is possible.
Playing in the snow is part of the imaginary of children growing up in a Patagonian Andean context. Skiing is a possible dream. Skiing can open their mind to another kind of life, new possibilities or alternatives.
Children who participate in the project, besides learning how to ski, are found to have improved school attendance and better social skills, show more active interest, and have better work prospects.
